This is one of my favorite sermons…
In fact, one year we had the local “prayer at the pole”, and everyone was praying these really depressing prayers about how America was in bad shape, and our morals were declining, etc. etc…
So, as a representative of the youth of our city, I read “That’s My King”…
the mayor was there, the school leaders, city council, assorted pastors, etc…
(I gave rev. lockridge full credit!)
at the end of reading the mini-sermon, the place ERUPTED with applause and shouts of Amens (I’m a baptist, and not really used to much of that :)
Anyway, this sermon rules…
And so does… MY KING!!
